Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes — donations to our Public Fund are tax-deductible under ITAA 1997 Subdivision 30-BA. You'll receive a DGR receipt by email immediately on completion.
How is my money used?
Public Fund donations are hard-separated from operating expenses and used exclusively for benevolent relief. Our ledger enforces this at the database level.
Can I donate by EFT or BPAY?
Yes. Email donate@credicare.asn.au for our bank details.
Can I make a recurring donation?
Monthly direct debit is on our roadmap — sign up for our newsletter to know when it goes live.
Can I donate in someone's name / in memoriam?
Yes — just tell us in the form and we'll add it to the receipt.
Can I see how my money was spent?
Yes — we publish annual financial statements and impact reports. Live anonymised stats are at credicare.asn.au/impact.
Can I refund a donation?
Yes within 30 days. Email donate@credicare.asn.au.
Is my information shared?
No. Donor records are used only to issue receipts and acknowledge gifts (with your consent).
