Partner handbook
What partnering means
Per s.9 of our constitution, we partner with charities, government agencies, corporates, and individual advocates to extend reach and reduce duplication.
What partners can do
- Refer beneficiaries to Credicare — they don't pay a membership fee (s.9.3 + s.5.3.d).
- Recruit members through partnership channels.
- Co-fund or co-administer programs.
- Share resources (food relief, emergency shelter, advocacy services).
- Recommend policy improvements.
What partners can't do
- Approve memberships or applications (s.9.3.b).
- Influence eligibility decisions or override Credicare's discretion (s.9.4.c).
- Access beneficiary information beyond their referrals.
Onboarding
- Express interest to partners@credicare.asn.au.
- Scope conversation with the RP and Committee.
- MOU / scope agreement signed.
- If you'll use our API, we issue OAuth credentials.
- If you'll federate auth, we set up SAML.
- You receive referral tokens for use with applicants.
Referral flow
You log in to govnet.credicare.asn.au (or call the API) and create a referral. We mint a one-time token for the referred person. They use it during sign-up — membership fee is waived automatically.
Termination
Either party can terminate per s.9.4. Existing referrals are honoured for processing.
